Platform admin guide

As a platform administrator, you manage the tenants (organisations) that use belsimple. You don’t access tenant data directly — you create and configure the organisational containers, and each tenant’s managers handle their own users and data.

What you can do

• Create tenants — set up new organisations on the platform.
• Configure tenant limits — set maximum users, document sizes, and storage quotas per tenant.
• Manage classification templates — maintain the global templates (like Frascati categories) that tenants can use as starting points.
• Recover locked-out tenants — invite a new manager or promote an existing user when a tenant has no active managers.

Your dashboard

Your dashboard shows three cards:

• Tenants — create and configure the organisations on the platform. This is your primary workspace.
• Audit log — every change across the platform, filterable by tenant.
• System health — run event-log verification and the other system checks.
